The reasons why items were not renewed when using My Account are always shown in RED LETTERS.
Some common reasons include:
1. The item is Long-Overdue. Items that are well past the due date are ineligable for renewal. All items are unable to be renewed if you have a single Long-overdue item because your account is blocked. Please return the long-overdue item as soon as possible.
2. Too many renewals. Books can only be renewed 3 times, and DVDs, magazines and equipment cannot be renewed at all. Please return the item and library staff can check the item back in then check the item back out to you, which resets the amount of renewals.
3. The item has been recalled. Items cannot be renewed if someone else has requested the item. Please return as soon as possible because someone else is waiting to use it.
