In the library catalog, "LAU" is the abbreviation for Lauinger Library, the main library of the Washington D.C. campus.

"Qatar Stacks" is the term for books shelves on the first floor in our library.

You can place a hold on the item and it will be sent to the Qatar Library. To place a hold, at the top of the item in the catalog there is a "Request" button. Click on the "Request" button and enter your Net ID and Password. Choose Qatar Library as the pickup location.

When the book is ready for pick-up, you will receive an email indicating that the book is on the Hold Shelf at the Circulation desk. You may view and manage all pending holds online via the "My Account" button on the library homepage.
